Westmaple, a small lively town situated just off the road track heading onto the Stormy Hills, a place full of heartbeat. When the sun rises just above the hills and that first ray of sun hits the rough dirt strip that is when the beating starts. Say good morning to the local blacksmith who will be busy fighting with the horses in order to pry their shoes off for mending.

​Or perhaps give a nod to your fellow man whilst they lug around the wheat and hay sacks so they can be ready for shipping. With the sun glistening on the cheeks of the local ladies don't be afraid to shoot a 'howdy ma'am' their way. Yes there is joy and a sense of a beating heart in this town of Westmaple, your town.

You are sheriff and what you say goes, many 'rag-tag' bandits have come and gone in your time allowing you to keep everyone safe and at ease. You have been able to gain the trust and respect of your townspeople, however, a new threat is beginning to rumor through the streets.

​

The Higgins Brothers, this name is becoming more and more frequent. The towns people have heard of the ruthless antics the Higgins Brothers and their crew of outlaws have been doing as they sweep their way across the west.

​

Rumor has it these guys are above the 'rag-tag' type of bandits and their is at least six of them. They travel through nightfall in order to allow the blackness of the desert to cloak them from unwanted eyes. They are dangerous men indeed who strike their target town first thing at day break.

​

Fear, this is slowly wrapping itself around the heat of the town and causing it to struggle to beat. The streets day by day are becoming empty because everyone is waiting for the Higgins Brothers to arrive at any point. Work is coming to a standstill, the sounds of joy and life are slowly fainting into the western breeze as if to never be heard from again.

​

Then it happened, they came, ridding on horses, guns blazing shooting straight into town. There was chaos, screams, people didn't know what to do. All they could do was turn to you, sheriff.

​

You told everyone to make their way to their homes, clear the streets. It is time for you to take on a challenge like never before. With your pistol holstered, your hand gently pressed on top with your trigger finger placed faintly ready to draw and fire. You call those Higgins Brothers out.

​

This is your town and you intend for it to stay that way! With the streets cleared it is now up to you to make your way through the strip to the train station where one of the Higgins Brothers is known to be. This however will not be an easy task.

Like it was mentioned before, the Higgins Brothers and their crew are no 'rag-tag' team, they are organised and ready to drop a sheriff when given the chance.

You will have to react quickly in order to catch them out in a gunfight. Swiping left and right at the chosen times is essential if you want to rid the town of these bandits. You will have to also be quick with that trigger finger, don't get the first shot off and they will make you pay.

​

So sheriff it is time to see if the trust and respect of the townspeople was put in the right place. Do you have what it takes to break free the heart of Westmaple and give it that beating heart of life and joy once again.
